The services were superb. Our family of 4 got upgraded to a corner suite with two bathrooms. The room and the balcony had the best ocean view. Everything was clean and modern. It's really cool that there's an elevator in the rock that takes you all the way down to a private beach. We were gifted a wine voucher which we used to taste 4 glasses of local wines. The staff made effort to accommodate our vegan diet at the breakfast. Their welcome snacks in room were all vegan and free of common allergens. I love that there are racks of books in the dining room for you to read. The hotel locates outside of the old town, makes it more quiet and private. We walked to the main touristy area and found that very manageable. You can also take a bus which has stops right outside the hotel. I'm happy to trade distance for the beauty and comfort this hotel provides though. I will recommend all my friends who comes to Dubrovnik to stay here.

We got such a great price on Booking.com we literally didn't realize it was a 5-star hotel until we checked in. The staff was phenomenal. They upgraded our room to an ocean-view room with a balcony for our honeymoon (we weren't expecting an upgrade but it was the offseason so they hooked us up). The bath towels were huge and so freaking soft. The breakfast. Oh my god the breakfast. They offered the most expansive buffet / grab-and-go breakfast I've ever seen (see photos) and they had additional menu options you could order from. And the breakfast was included in the price of the room! We stayed in 9 hotels and ate at countless bakeries across Italy and Croatia and this place had the tastiest croissants on our entire trip. And the location? Are you kidding me?! Private beach cove, indoor pool and spa, 5 minute drive to Pile Gate. Next time we visit Dubrovnik we will only stay here.

Our room was upgraded which was a lovely surprise and possible I guess due to preseason. The room executive double with sitting area had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. All furnishings light in colour, clean. A restful room. The bedroom is on the small side but the bed was large and very comfortable. It was my partner's birthday during the stay and the hotel surprised him with a card and delicious small cake. How kind! Ivana was excellent for advice on visits and general information on Croatia, Petra gave a great recommendation for Proto fish restaurant, and there were a few very attentive waiters Darko and Viktor among them.

The food at both breakfast time and dinner times is very good and of such a variety that someone with dietary preferences can find something suitable. The closeness to the old town is really a plus over the other pluses. It’s too bad that the weather did not permit experiencing the beach in this property. My room was a spacious sea facing room and the bathroom was equally spacious. I can’t single out any one staff member in particular. Every one I interacted with were very friendly.

The VIEW is breathtakingly beautiful. It was spectacular. The restaurant staff was always very kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with many food options. Even room service was perfect. We had dinner every night at the restaurant and oh my.. divine doesn't begin to describe it. The best fish and club sandwiches ever! The location is very central, very easy to get to the old town. The hotel let us check out late because we had an evening flight. We got to use the wellness facilities too. 10/10 highly recommend and would return.
